Coshocton men indicted for burglary

COSHOCTON - Three Coshocton men have been indicted for aggravated burglary relating to a June 23 incident in Fresno.
Scott E. Jennings, 22, of 668 W. Chestnut St., Kenneth A. Guthrie, 23, of 711 Fairview Blvd. and Damaris A. Strupe, 23, of 403 S. Lawn Ave. have been indicted on a charge of aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony. The charge carries a weapons specification stating the men had a firearm while committing the offense.
Strupe and Jennings were also indicted on charges of felonious assault, a second-degree felony, tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and theft, a first-degree misdemeanor. Guthrie was also indicted with tampering with evidence and theft, but not felonious assault.
According to court documents, the men had a .17 caliber rifle with them when they entered the home in the 26000 block of Township Road 194. Items taken included cash, a wallet and a cell phone. The tampering with evidence charge is connected to the wallet.
Jennings and Guthrie are incarcerated at the Coshocton Justice Center. Authorities continue to search for Strupe.
Other indictments
Dawn E. Wears, 45, 668 W. Chestnut St. was indicted on a count of complicity to commit burglary, a second-degree felony, in relation to Scott Jennings and the June 23 burglary in the 26000 block of Township Road 194 in Fresno.
William L. Hartman, 42, of 1238 Melrose Ave., Zanesville, was indicted on one count of carrying concealed weapons, a fourth-degree felony. On July 1, Hartman was found with a Ruger LCP 380 handgun.
Jonathan R. Art, 27, of 59949 Township Road 256, Newcomerstown, was indicted on one count of receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony. The item in question was a 9mm handgun.
